• Oil Film: Provides the primary layer of lubrication.
• EP Additives: React chemically to protect under high heat/pressure.
• Solid Film (Moly): Provides a third layer of protection. It plates itself onto the metal surface, filling microscopic gaps and preventing metal-to-metal contact even when the oil is squeezed out.
